TRUST IN GOD'S TIMING BY ERICA BROWN edited by DOMINICK MWENDA
I'm Erica Brown, motivational book and script writer, change maker and new generation builder. I wish to share with you the very good message about TRUSTING IN GOD'S TIMING today. Let's look on it!!
Trusting God's unseen plan
As I sat in the darkness of uncertainly I couldn't help but wondering why God was delaying my breakthrough. I had prayed waited and trusted but the silence was deafening. It was when I remembered Joseph's story from the bible how he spent years in prison wondering why God had abandoned him only to be elevated to a position and power of influence.
Like Joseph I realized that God's timing is not our own.His delays are not denials rather than opportunities for growth, preparation and divine appointment. From Genesis 50:30 the word of God says "you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good". That means Joseph's suffering became someone's blessing may be your waiting is preparing you to be something greater .
Ever felt like God is hiding his plan? Like your walking blindfolded, trusting someone else's steps? You are not the first. God's ways are often mystery but he's got a plan.
Why trust the unseen?
- God see what we can't
- God uses impossible moments
- God's delays are part of the plan
- God's ways aren't ours.
Bible says " God's ways are higher than ours " (Isaiah 55:8-9 ) One has to be aware on different seasons and how they play role in his or her life of cause God never acts too early or too late since what feels like a delay to us is often a preparation .
Why God's ways aren't our ways
FIRST:God's thought are deeper.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways ; declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher that your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts " ( isaiah 55:8-9)
Key point. God see more, understands more and knows things in the way we can't see right now. We look at life moment by moment but God sees the whole picture.
Short story. A girl planted a seed she waters it but for weeks nothing grows. She got frustrated. What she doesn't see is the root growing underground since she can't see the growth is doesn't mean growth doesn't happen. That's how God works sometimes in hidden place.
SECOND: Trust God's plan even when you don't understand
The is moments in life when things doesn't go the way we hoped. Friendship fall apart, a dream we worked for doesn't happen and the future feels uncertain. During this time it can be easy to wonder why God has allowed confusion or disappointment. Its natural to ask some questions to feel frustrated or not understanding what's happening. But trusting God's plan doesn't mean we have answers - it means believing that He is still working, even in the silence.
Trusting God's plans is an act of courage and patience. Waiting can be impatience especially when we want fast and instant answers . But the fact is growth usually happens in season that feels confusing and slow. One has to keep on mind that God sees what we can't see and knows what we don't know.
